Hosea 2:16-18

¹⁶ In that day, declares the Lord, this is what will take place:
    You will call me “my husband.”
    You will no longer call me “my master.”^[a]
17 For I will remove the names of the Baals from her mouth.
    She will no longer call them by their names.^[b]
18 In that day I will make a covenant for the Israelites with the wild animals, with the birds of the sky and the things that creep on the ground.
    I will break the bow and the sword.
    I will abolish war from the land.
    I will allow the people to lie down safely.^[c]
